I can barely believe this place gets such high marks. The breakfast basket was nothing special, really just a pile of carbs! And, to top it off, I expected a luxurious welcome gift as a special treat, not just that average room. Might almost have considered a good review, but this was completely unacceptable!

The superior apartment was perfectly set up with a well-equipped kitchen featuring a hob, microwave, and dishwasher, along with thoughtful inclusions like coffee and dishwasher tablets. The charming third-floor location offered stunning views of the park and even a glimpse of the harbor, making it a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

Getting to the top floor required navigating several flights of stairs, which might not be ideal if you're hauling heavy luggage. the parking situation can be tricky. while there’s a free lot within a short walking distance, finding a spot during the busy summer months is a real challenge—be prepared to search or consider paid options. the lack of clear directions for accessing the property led to some confusion upon arrival, as there are two entrances that can be easily overlooked.

Although the photos were accurate, I was unprepared for the slight street noise despite the overall charm. Absolutely would return!

Although I was aware of the absence of an elevator, carrying luggage up the steep staircase added a layer of inconvenience. Despite these issues, Penny's hospitality was notable. she offered useful restaurant recommendations that added to my visit. Would consider returning, but would plan better for parking.

Had an amazing trip with friends! The vibe was perfect, especially visiting the local market and exploring the nearby historical sites. The rooms were stylish, and the hosts provided excellent tips for dining. Enjoyed using the beautiful garden area. great for relaxing after days of exploring. Breakfast was delicious, too!

One downside was the lack of direct interaction with the owner during our stay, which felt a bit impersonal.
